We invite you to have lunch with us on Friday, June 6th, in the heart of downtown Vancouver at our Move to Cure ALS event taking place on the North Plaza at the iconic Vancouver Art Gallery.
 
Recognizing the challenges of balancing schedules, this event was designed with our downtown-core working supporters in mind. Taking place on a sunny weekday afternoon, spend your lunch hour with us along with countless others who fight with those living with ALS. This event will mark the first time a Move Cure ALS event has been hosted in downtown Vancouver, and we are excited to make it an unforgettable experience.
 
Along with the traditional “Move” component around the Vancouver Art Gallery, it will also feature live entertainment by the popular cover band Chronicles of False Creek. Throughout the event, the Vancouver-based group will be performing a variety of hits from the 60s to those of today.
 
In addition, a number of Vancouver’s popular food trucks will be on-site to provide lunch for those in attendance. A simple contribution to the event and a lunch is on us! Confirmed vendors include:

Disco Cheetah Korean Grill - serving bold, fast-casual Korean cuisine, such as bowls, bao, and more!

Chickpea - serving Delicious plant based comfort food with a mediterranean twist!

The event is scheduled to last between two to three hours. Whether you walk, run, roll, cheer from the sidelines, or want to soak in the experience, your presence makes a difference. So gather your friends, family, co-workers, and join us for lunch. Stay for a little or stay for the day and help light the Vancouver Art Gallery purple in honour of those affected by ALS.

All donations of $20 or more are eligible for tax receipts. Net proceeds raised from this event will go towards supporting people living with ALS, patient care, and ALS research through the ALSBC PROJECT HOPE.
